| Will Mebane is a New York-based photographer and curator whose work has appeared in publications such as The New York Times Magazine, Esquire, and New York Magazine. He received a J. William Fulbright Fellowship to photograph in Nepal in 2002 and 2003, and was included in Photo District News' 30 Emerging Photographers in 2005. He received hisMFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2002. Will lives with his wife and their two sons in Brooklyn, NY. Will also works collaboratively with Martin Hyers. Their documentary photography can be viewed at www.hyersandmebane.com Will curates the site www.love-pictures.org with his friend, Scott Tolmie. The website serves as a space to celebrate found and taken photographs that are experienced as much by the heart as by the head. Viewers are encouraged to submit their love-pictures both found and taken. |
